Las Vegas to Vancouver

Welcome on board to our new "stalkers" great to have you along for the ride ! Rejeana the Coral Princess seems a life time ago !Ok our day started with a walk and a quick brekky sandwich, and a farewell drink before leaving on the shuttle for the airport for our last flight till we get home (The shuttle was $13.00 pp return) I think we have been on about 14 "birds" all up.As usual our bags were too heavy, so we were at the airport "off loading" stuff !! We arrived in plenty of time and walked up to Westjet counter, the only people there, thank you very much, how easy is this !! Straight through customs, no drama, yippeee, what a great start. Given we had loads of time on our hands we spent some time playing a poker machine, they are everywhere at the airport, all up I left $21 and Wazza $3, not bad hey ! Off to the bar for a coldie before boarding our flight to Vancouver, 2 hours and 40 minutes, most of the time we spent deleting stuff off the iPad, and remembering what a really remarkable time we have had. We know how lucky we are, even the weather has been kind. The flight was terrific, I was worried as there were some mean looking clouds, but it was very smooth. We caught a taxi to the Sandman Suites on Davie Street, its a lovely place, with a separate bedroom, kitchen/lounge, and a much needed washer/dryer, which we had to call the fellow from reception to show us how to drive it..we spent a long time trying to get it going, what a pair of Wallys we are...We walked down the street for some supplies and came back to have a relax before we got a lovely Greek dinner. What a good day. Tomorrow we are doing a hop on hop off trolly tour, before dinner with Heather, Shazza & Paul. Hope everyone is well. Cheers till next time. BTW, Colleen, great news from you, enjoy that bottle of bubbles !!!
